The new house is amazing and furnished just the way we like, lots of pillows, throws, and comfy reading areas. We welcomed a new puppy and she’s eight months old already. Will, my four year old heeler, thinks she’s awesome. The backyard, aka swampland, will be our next project…but isn’t that life’s lesson to happiness? Setting goals, empowering yourself with the skills needed to complete the work and doing your best, then embracing your accomplishments? Repeat, repeat… I’ve even been asked to speak to a group of high school-aged young women on pursuing dreams!

May is such a special month for me. I’ll be celebrating family birthdays, Mother’s Day, and my favorite season, Spring. Spring is a time of rebirth and renewal. So, what better time to announce I’ve been working on a new series. Believe me when I say I’m biting nails having to keep the title, blurb, and cover secret for a little longer. Yes, I’m such a terrible tease, but I guarantee the waiting will be worth every single minute of pleasurable reading. 😉

Return to Whisper Cove. For those of you who’ve asked (demanded…hehe), Dane will get his very own story and happily ever after. I’m targeting late fall 2016. So, inside book 5 of the Whisper Cove series, we will see return characters and face a whole new set of mystery, page-turning suspense and twist-turns and, of course, steamy romance to Excite, Empower, and Embrace. So, hold on to your seats…er, ereaders!

On the website front, in the next few weeks expect website changes, along with a wonderful monthly newsletter offer that includes a first peek at new works, excerpts, slices of my life, and a monthly drawing where winners have a choice to grab an autographed book of your choice from my Whisper Cove series, and much more.

Valentine’s News!

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, and I cannot wait to share the day with my fellow romance lovers! Beginning today, I’m receiving the great honor of having my Whisper Cove series featured among iBooks Valentine’s Day Promotion! There will be something for everyones’ romantic taste, be it a sweet romance or something on the dangerous side, like my Whisper Cove series.

Speaking of Whisper Cove… What do you think of the new covers? I’m so thrilled with designer Picky Me Artist for her creativity I’m practically swooning.

February News:

1. I’m writing a new series…Believe me, I want to share this story with you all so badly. But, I’m just not quite at that sharing stage. So, hold tight. I promise I’ll have some character introductions soon and maybe a flirty snippet or two.
2. I’ve signed up to attend the Romance Writers of America Annual Conference. I absolutely love this conference event where over 2,000 writers learn about writing craft, networking, and best of all I get to have FUN with fellow writers!
3. Print on demand for the Whisper Cove series is on its way! A milestone for every writer is holding a hardcopy. 🙂
4. Vacation: Yes, beginning Friday, I’ll be taking a 10 day staycation from my day job. Ahhh… During, I plan on writing, walking in the park with my pooches, organizing my office, and, keeping with Valentine’s Day tradition, taking a day trip with my sweetie to our favorite California beach.
